Renovation of an 1800s rural building in the countryside of the Riviera del Brenta. The original building, consisting of a landowner’s villa of historic value and a dwelling built at a later date, formed a property with visibly different qualities and architectural characteristics. The project restores the typological characters of the owners’ villa for the entire building, unifying facades and roofing without altering the traditional appearance of the historic building. The interiors have been remodeled to meet contemporary living needs with large spaces in contact with the countryside. Building with anti-seismic structures that follows the NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Bulding) directive, achieved through consistent design for the building enclosure and technological systems with almost zero energy consumption.
