201 | Mixed-use building along the Piovese road

A 1970s property strategically located along the Piovese road has been renovated and upgraded for energy efficiency. The property, initially used as a residence with an adjoining artisan workshop, has been converted into a mixed-use building. The project involved the creation of a commercial space on the ground floor and an executive space on the first floor, which later became the headquarters of our studio. The facades were updated while preserving the existing main elements, emphasizing the staircase access with a distinctive vertical wall. The interior spaces adopt flexible solutions that consider current needs and possible future transformations. Interventions were made on the envelope and fixtures to achieve the highest energy class. The renovation also involved the outdoor area with the arrangement of the boundary wall and the creation of a large parking area to serve the new business activities.
